How to Decorate Your Home for Winter

How to Decorate Your Home
This time of year is my favorite for home decorations both inside and out. There are so many different themes and colors that can transform a home into a Winter Wonderland. You can design any room to reflect your style and with a little help from CORT Furniture Rental, you’ll achieve the best holiday home of the season.

Getting Into the Season

This time of year is my favorite for home decorations both inside and out. There are so many different themes and colors that can transform a home into a Winter Wonderland. You can design any room to reflect your style and with a little help from CORT Furniture Rental, you’ll achieve the best holiday home of the season.

If you’re someone like me, who is a little challenged on the creativity spectrum then making a few changes like festive throw pillows and blankets can slowly transform a space. However, if you’re unafraid of a little DIY then you’ll be surprised by all the projects that could be accomplished with the things you already have.

Upcycle Fall Decorations

Doing small projects like painting and turning old pumpkins into snowman is a perfect example of upcycling. It’s easy to do and budget friendly! Something else that is an easy DIY is to create your own festive pillowcases for your home. If you’re familiar with a sewing machine then it’s a quick 10-minute project and you’re bound to get compliments. There are lots of other projects that can give you the look you want and with CORT, you’ll be off to a great start.

Keep It Warm & Comfy

The winter season is the ideal time to create a warm and comfy ambiance. If you’re lucky enough to have a fireplace then consider making it the focus of your home. With most of us spending more time inside adding an extra level of comfort by jazzing up the area with garland, stockings and other seasonal decorations is a good way to create a comfy and warm winter vibe. Also lighting candles and keeping neutral colors with your furniture will help in balancing all the bright seasonal colors.

However, you choose you to decorate your home this season remember to make it a spectacular Winter Wonderland with CORT

I like the idea of recycling fall decor! This year I tried something cheap and easy, wrapping my doors in Christmas wrapping paper. It was super easy and quickly transforms the house into a festive mood.

Isn’t it though! It’s so much easier to recycle what you already have throughout the seasons instead of spending money on new decorations all the time. Thanks for reading!

Cort’s concept is so interesting and useful! I’ve just relocated and wish we had something like Cort here. Thanks for your xmas decor tips!

There’s been a few DIYs that just don’t come out right but when they do it’s awesome. Haha.
